She is a hard-working and dedicated young entrepreneur with a spirit for helping others and giving back to her community. About Cornelius, NC

Established in 1905, Cornelius, NC 28031, was a mill and farm community for many decades. The town's original name was “Liverpool,” but locals changed the name to Cornelius to honor Joseph Benjamin Cornelius, who supplied the investment needed to open the town cotton mill. Yet, with the damming of the Catawba River, which created Lake Norman, the area found itself with hydroelectric power and many recreational opportunities starting from the 1960s. With upwards of 70 miles of shoreline, Cornelius is most popular for lake fun today. Visitors can rent watercraft like boats, jet skis, or paddle boards from one of the marinas or stroll through one of the beautiful parks in the area.
